Isshin Japanese Restaurant

Hi guys! I made a new account since I had a problem with my old gmail account:( I can't access it anymore D: I begged google to bring it back but then they didn't so.. huhuhu:(( Since I won't do everything from scratch, please follow our old blog eatsloveatfirstbite.blogspot.com :D It had only 2 entries so I don't think its a big deal:D

So for our next adventure, its not that super exciting but it was fun:D Since bebe meggy didn't eat anything the whole day, we plan to eat a heavy meal xD  I've been in this restaurant ever since i was a kid, this restaurant is more like a home to me  :D It wasn't a new experience for me but since its Mig's first time, i enjoyed it like it was my first:D

We went to Isshin Japanese Restaurant :D Isshin is the sister company of Zaifu Isshin ( the one in rockwell). It is a japanese restaurant found in front of Park Square 1:D  The place is comfy and the people there are really friendly:D

The place is really comfy when you get here:) They have the traditional japanese dining set up and the table and chair set up:D

This is Migs's looking browsing through the menu :D

Tofu Special

This is not we were suppose to order actually, we really wanted the Tofu Steak, but then we thought the Tofu Steak was the the same as the Tofu Special. It's not:( This one is more expensive than the tofu steak though. It has carrots, peas, meat (I'm not sure if the meat was pork or chicken) and spring onions The sauce was very savory! Not salty, it was perfect:D The breaded tofu was cooked perfectly!:D The only down side to this is that it has less toppings:( It would have been better if there was a lot of meat:(

ChaChan?

I'm sorry guys!!! I forgot what this one is called, I'll edit it as soon as i remember the name! This is their famous Japanese fried rice! If you go to Isshin don'f forget to order this one!:D It might look small but really this is a lot! This one is goof for 2!:D This rice was enough for the both of us :D

Chicken Teriyaki

The chicken was very soft and teriyaki sauce is not your ordinary sauce! It was not thick, rather it was like watery in texture. The sauce that they use for the chicken teriyaki was the same sauce that they used for the Gindara ( Smoked Sea Bass ) but it complimented the chicken so I guess it was ok:D The sauce is not what you would expect from your ordinary teriyaki chicken. It's hard to describe what it taste like, I guess the best way to illustrate this is; its like soy sauce only 10x better!:D The serving was a lot so it is good for 2 persons:D

This is us enjoying or food:D

What a great meal:D

Everything costed us around 580:D It was the service charge and the VAT that made it expensive:D This place is very affordable to think that we got full after :) When we were about to get the bill the they offered us Ice Cream of Coffee for FREE!:D So we both got the Ice Cream:D When I was young they use to offer us Nata de Coco :)

WOHOOOOOOO ICE CREAM FOR FREE :D

We hanged in greenbelt after! We watched Harry Potter and Chamber of Secret in my laptop!:D  We tried the Chewy Junior, but then i forgot to take a picture of it:( Maybe next time:D
